Hospitalized

Her.... not me

At least there will be someone to watch over her while I'm away.

The number of times I burst into tears; countless.
I felt silly doing it, but it was uncontrollable.

Hardest part was to sound cheerful when having conversations with well-wishers.

I had an exhausting day.......

The longest night ever (II)

1.25am

Tears began to blur my vision.
One of my hand massaging her head, the other rested on the bed.

Thoughts running through my mind - trying to hold back so the tears don't trickle down.

Alas, it did. I hoped she doesn't open her eyes to see it

No, she didn't.

The longest night ever (I)

Not only am I mugging, but juggling with circumstances I shall not mention less I jinx it.

Suffice to say, I am no holy person, but given the situation, a prayer is evidently needed.

I'm so close..

to..

weeping....

An email

Woman has Man in it;
Mrs. has
Mr . in it;
Female has
Male in it;
She has
He in it;
Madam has
Adam in it;
No wonder men always want to be inside women!

Men were born between the legs of a woman, yet men spend all their life and time trying to go back between
the legs of a woman....
Why?

BECAUSE THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE
HOME

Okay, Okay, it all makes sense now......
I never looked at it this way before:

Ever notice how all of women's problems start with MEN?

MEN

MEN

MEN

CNY... It's all about the food

eve @ Had dinner with the aunt and grandfather
The food:::
Typical teochew style- chicken, duck,
Not typical teochew style - crab, prawns
It's all about the food!

1st day @ KLIA, grandaunt's house at dawn and at Kepong uncle's house at dusk.
We started off the day at KLIA, awaiting the arrival of dad from Dubai.

At grandaunt's house:::
Mum chatted a lot with Aunt Janet. Four people were playing mahjong.

The food:::
Typical things served - Jam tarts, egg rolls, Canned drinks

At Kepong uncle's house:::
The food:::
The typical feast of junkfood - Too many to describe
Unconventional CNY dinner - Thai food

2nd Day @ Not a typical CNY
Why?
Because the fridge's compressor gave up aka the fridge was spoilt
Therefore...
Mum was busy cooking everything that was in the fridge and freezer
Resulting in...
A whole load of food!
Thus...
It was all brought to the Kepong Uncle's house to be devoured, as many relatives were there on day 2.

3rd Day @ Officially no more house visits.
Went to KLCC to hang out with the family.
Lunch @ Chilli's - Quesadillas and corn. Lovely ~~

Tea @ The Lawn - oreo cupcakes( not recommended), coffee, free wifi :)
I love the ambience

Dinner @ Mei Keng Fatt Chinese Restaurant, Hulu Kelang
A dinner for five.

The food:::
Yee sang!

Sweet sour spicy sauce Crab with steamed pao - the tangy sauce was absolutely to die for.

Cod fish - Fresh and cooked to perfection

Family pictures....

4th Day @ Ampang point, Sungei Wang, Pavillion

Lunch @ Octopus, Ampang Point

Sungei Wang: stuck there coz of the rain. I had a lion dance dancing and bowing right in front of me.

After walking back from Sungei Wang, there was also a lion dance performance in Pavillion.

5th Day @ Royal China for dim sum with cousin, aunt and my nephews

Back tracking

I need to complete this post now or I'll never get around to doing it.
I have 'bloggers' who r anxiously waiting for the photos! ;p;p (Am I right?)

This time round, the outing was like an excursion around my territory. They hail from Cheras while I, from Ampang. Furthermore, we are all pretty busy people and it was definitely hard to set a date to meet up.

We - Eric, Lim Kian, Terri, Sabrina, and I finally met up after many failed attempts before ;p Aeris, Sab's housemate tagged along too.

This was a Chinese New Year cum meet up cum reunion cum food intro trip.

On that day, we started off by heading to Batu Caves for lunch. It was high time for me to share the oh-so-famous sang har hor fun and century egg fish porridge with my fellow friends.

Six people, four dishes = Just the right amount.

The famous fried chicken the waitress recommended.

The sang har hor fun with the huge prawn.

The century egg porridge fish porridge.

The famous fried noodle.

The meal was 100% satisfactory.

As it was a public holiday, traffic was at a near stand still when we wanted to leave. It took us an hour to get to our next destination, instead of just 20 minutes.

Our next stop was KLCC, but we decided to make a detour to have cendol since Sab 'needed' something sweet. We had cendol at Taman Melawati.

Beans, cendol, corn, ice = Nice.
I didn't have any though as I was stuffed fromt he earlier meal.

After the cendol, we finally head to KLCC. Th eplan was either to watch a movie, visit Petrosains or the Aquaria. But, we did neither one.

What we did..
1) Bagel stop

2) Roti boy stop
LK with the roti boy he craved for.

3) Signature food court stop

Sab and her McD chocotop

The half waffle topped with ice cream

Lastly, to call it a day, we went to Kinokuniya. We spent an unsurmountable time in that bookstore.

What nerds we were ;)
