Today I just had the urge to eat an ice cream. I was walking at the Plaza Mont Kiara's courtyard after a doctor's appointment when I saw Lecka Lecka. SInce there was a McD opposite Lecka Lecka, I was contemplating whether to have the Choco top i crave for last time or Hazelnut from Lecka Lecka. I chose Lecka Lecka, but i tried the nockey this time.

Later on, I took Ariel and Natasya to McD at Setapak. Mum and aunt came along too. First thing, the play area at that McD is soooooo small already. Why did they take down the huge pirate ship i love?? Second thing- the play area is not child frinedly. If a child falls, i think there are bound to be bruises. The surfaces were not soft at all.

But I still had fun with them.

Ariel looks soooo cute wehn she had her first taste of Ribena:) She loved it! She helped me finish half of it.

At the end of the day, I felt exhausted. It was actually tiring to watch over a 16 month old kid, who can suddenly fall halfway while running or walking...lol

I like being chinese for the food :P

Y.Y. Famous Dumplings

Where they make the dumplings. The lady boss said we're free to go there and learn too.

We were served with cute tea cups. Very traditional chinese.

So small till I am not used to it. I had to refill my cup of tea so many times.

Sambal belacan which is so syok till I had two saucers of it just for me. They sell it in small containers too.

Lui Cha comes with rice and many side ingredients, which has to be added only when served. After adding all the ingredients, thhe green soup, made of tea is poured into the bowl of rice.

Mum loves the 'lui cha' there. But I don't favour it at all. I've tried it once, but couldn't swallow the taste.
I only go back to Y.Y. Famous Dumplings for their Cantonese chung and Siew Mai.

Chung. So tasty OMFG. It has a huge chunk of pork and a whole orange salted egg yolk. *squeals* One was not enough. So, I ordered another as take out for my dinner that night.

Then, there's the siew mai which was one of the best I've tasted. Good quality.

Below is a shot of the restaurant. Very traditionally decorated. Small round chairs with marble table.

The front door:

On a totally different cuisine,
I don't think I'll be back at Itallianies that soon. I've tried this fried squid in an Italian restaurant in Richmind before and Italiannies's fried squid was horrible. I ordered the salad. A lil' too cheesey and creamy to my liking.
SALAD

next up, lui cha at Sri Sinar, Segambut.....

Life's lessson #1

Today on Mix FM, something made me chuckle.

"Women worry about the future until they find a husband, while men worry about the future when they have a wife."

True?
It was Phua Chu Kang who said it ;p
I love his humour at times.

PS: Dear Eric, cheer up! I've gotten through it, you can too. Your hot red Ric Mobile will save you ;p ttyl

Chocolates for me

Last year, a christmas present for me was flown from a land far away.

The present was kinder bueno!

Hard to resist!

I finished the whole load of choc in two and a half weeks.

Now there is a new Cadbury Hazelnut Praline. It taste like Bueno, but a lil' bit sweeter and a lil' cheaper.

But, I still HEART kinder bueno!

T.E.A.M.

T
ogether Everyone Achieves More

I've been telling everyone who has chatted with me that I enjoy my work very much.
A friend asked, "How come you're the only person I know who loves to work so much? My other friends hate their jobs."

There are benefits when being a part-timer. There are no strings attached, no worries of losing the job, no pressure, and lastly, I can just quit whenever I feel like it.

The current job I have is too hard to let go. I let it go once due to their office politics, but I came back because I missed the company.

Eventhough the team members changes like every one or two months, we get along fine. That's what makes work so bearable. We're a bunch of KL people from different backgrounds.

We are serious when we work.

There's fun time too.

I'm not saying we don't bitch about each other. Of course we do. But, we've become such a close-knitted team that correcting the mistakes of each other directly instead of indirectly, comes naturally and is fine with everybody.

The best part is, we're always smiling!

When will I see you again..

I am back in KL and I have this sudden craving for McD's Chocotop ice cream.

I haven't had one since Claude n his family left.

When will I see you guys again??
