Virginia Commonwealth Uni, VCU

When I came back to Virginia from New York, I asked Andrew to show me around VCU campus. He is studying something about politics there.

I bought ice cream from Cold Stone before we left. I love Cold Stone's coffee with almond ice cream.

The car we sat in was Andrew's grandfather's car. It sure does look and feel different. Even the safety belts are not the same as the once we have now.

VCU is just next to Carey St. The campus is huge. It's like being in a city itself. Everything is just walking distance. We were there at 3.330pm so the campus wasn't packed. But Andrew told me at 12pm, the whole campus outside would be packed with students walking around and it would be hard to move.

There were many blocks in the campus. Andrew showed me the block he studied in, the library, the student area, and the cafeteria for freshmen students. The student area is nice. There were comfy chairs around, a Subway shop, and a cafeteria.

Later on, we went to Andrew's house because he forgot to unplug his mp3 player from the charger. He was leaving to Washington DC for the weekend. The house he stays in looks old. When we step in through the front door, there's a staircase. Everything is white and its all wood. It feels like being in a haunted house just like in the horror movies.

Andrew's room is nice. He has 3 guitars!

Malaysian Artistes for Unity

This is the first Malaysian song which I've listened to dozens of times. <3

Here In My Home - Malaysian Artistes For Unity

Highway horror

Crash aftermath: Damaged vehicles and debris at the scene of a horrific accident on the Cheras-Kajang Highway Friday after a 10-tonne lorry rammed into seven vehicles, killing two people and injuring several others, five of them critically. The 9.30am accident caused a massive traffic jam. — ABDUL RAHMAN SENIN / The Star

Gosh, I use that highway almost everyday. The thought of it sends shivers running up my spine.

I've been an avid reader of www.waiterrant.net and now, the blogger's book is out.
I've read the summary and it sounds interesting enough. Bah, I actually dont need a synopsis to know the book is going to be good. His blog post keeps me hooked most of the time.

Before and after marriage

"I was blog hopping, when I stumbled upon something hilarious"

Before marriage....

He: Yes. At last. It was so hard to wait.
She: Do you want me to leave?
He: No! Don't even think about it.
She: Do you love me?
He: Of course! Over and over!
She: Have you ever cheated on me?
He: No! Why are you even asking?
She: Will you kiss me?
He: Every chance I get.
She: Will you hit me?
He: Are you crazy! I'm not that kind of person!
She: Can I trust you?
He: Yes.
She: Darling!

After marriage.... Simply read from bottom to top.

Vietnam 1, Downtown, Carey Street

I had time to waste while waiting for Roy to come pick me up. Thus, I had a camwhoring session with my cousins! I saw some dolls, and a huge bed. So heyyy why not have some pictures taken :P

I like the frog the best.

Then, I called Sammy and Leonard to the front lawn for some picture taking. The sky was clear, the rain just stopped, the grass was wet and the weather was fabulous.

I decided to do jumping shots! I haven't done that in the longest time.

Roy finally arrived at 12.40pm. we were suppose to have lunch at Red Robins, but decided to have vietnamese instead.

We headed to Amy's house in downtown. Royused the GPS system to help find Amy's house. But lol behold, he forgot to charge it and the battery kept on dying:P

Amy has 3 dogs! Bloody cheerful dogs. Make me scared. Onedog somehow, always wanted to lick my toes. I still cant get used to animals. I did let out a tiny shriek when the dogs were excitedly wanting to jump on me or touch me.

The three of us took a few pictures in Amy's house. Her house is tastefully decorated and spacious. I love it.

Afterawhile, we headed to Vietnam 1. I had BBQ pork chop rice and crispy spring roll, while Amy and roy had noodles. I heart the crispy spring roll. When I first tried the spring rolls three years ago, i went back to KL to look for similar ones, but to no avail:(

After lunch, we headed to Carey street. It's a street with pretty cool shops. There were like four Thai restaurants along the street, clothes shop, and artsy fartsy shops.

Picture with some X-rated cards. Seriously X-rated ok, coz when u lift one of the cards hight, u will see the model's willy in full flash! Notice the warning where u have to be 18 years old and above to view it?! LOL

Took a picture with an Oscar. Oscar for "The person most likely to fall asleep in class".

There were napkins with dry humour on it.

After walking the whole street, we popped by Bev's to have ice cream! Really good homemade ice cream there.

I had butter pecan, as usual. Just lovely.

Opposite Bev's was a cinema. It cost USD2 only watch a movie there. cheap!

I had a fun day, thanks to Roy and Amy! <3

And for the ride in the Wolkswagen Convertible <3 <3
