Loving the food in New York

Eating in New York was an unforgettable experience.

I know most Malaysians die to go to New York to have a taste of Malaysian food which they are so deprive dof in other states.

But, I didn't crave for Malaysian food. I was craving for good western food or something different.

EJ and I had an English breakfast one beautiful chilly morning at Clinton St. Baking Restaurant. We were told that they are famous for their pancakes. The thought of pancakes made me crave for Paddington's House of Pancakes in KL.

I ordered the pancakes with banana and walnut toppings.

It looked gorgeous.

It tasted fabulous too!

But three thick pieces were too much for me to stomach.
I ate one and a half and forced myself to finsh the other half and gave one piece to EJ.

E.J. had scrambled eggs and scone which came with absolutely to die for rasberry jam.

Along 6th Avenue on the second day, we were looking for somewhere good to eat after a long walk in Central Park.

EJ and I had the urge to have a burger. We scouted around, and noticed a building which stood out among the rest. It was decorated to haunt. at first we thought it was a night club as its name was The Jeckyl and Hyde Club. But we saw young people going in and out. On closer inspection, we found out it was a restaurant with burgers!

There was a butler who held my hand and lead the both of us inside. Suddenly, the lights turned off and it became a haunted place. There was a question we needed to answer( if orgot what it was),but we were too shocked to say yes or no.. So the ceiling was coming down on us and it would only stop coming down if we yelled STOP!! LOL.. which we did.. EJ was screaming...LOLXX

The whole place was tastefully decorated. There were four floors. We were seated on the second floor which was the library. There were performances to watch too.

We ordered chicken quesadilla and bacon burger.

It was soooo good! We had to take home some of it because we were really stuffed.

Great stuff, great food.. I definitely enjoyed myself there :)

On my last night at New York, I had Vietnamese at Nam Son, a restaurant situated at Grand St. Chinatown. The one Asian food I love so much since three years ago was Vietnamese food.

I had beef rice noodle and crispy spring rolls. Awesome stuff!

I'd go back there again if I could.

On Day four, we arrived too early to enter the Museum of Sex. So we stumbled upon Cafe 28. There were many choices of food sold there.

We bought a pack of Strawberry Yoghurt Ganola and a pack of mixed fruits as our breakfast.

It was healthy and hearty. I like!!

Then after visiting the Museum of Sex, we finally had the lamb shwarma and kebab for lunch from a stall along the road. From the first day, we were always planning to try the stall but never had the chance. The food tasted just as good as it smelt from the distance everytime we passed by.

The food above are highly recommended and I'd go to those places again if I am in NYC again ;)

I heart NYC :P
