Templer's Park

Dad always wanted to go to Templer's Park.
So, in conjunction with Father's Day, we went.
I know I've been to that park before, but I really don't remember a single thing about it.
When we arrived there at 8.30am, it looked like dad hasn't been there in ages too.
The surroundings looked different.

The initial plan was to go to the waterfalls. So, I wore sandals.
But when we arrived, we found out we actually had to hike to the falls.
There were six stages.
The path we took wasn't really a well maintained path.
There were fallen trees which we had to cross over, broken paths, paths covered by overgrown shrubs..;.. tough when I wasn't prepared for this sort of 'adventure'.

In the end, the journey ended as the path at one part was completely blocked by trees and we couldn't see beyond.
Aunt suggested to walk in the river... BAREFOOT. omg.. damn pain coz of the sand and stones.

I opted to walk on land and watch them torment themselves.

This thing wasn't my cup of tea. I'm not someone who would willingly risk my life and time to do stuf flike this. Why not just walk/hike on my hill?? At least it is well maintained. NO need to worry about getting dirty or falling coz of a slippery rock etc etc....
