Dining @ The Loaf, Pavillion

PREVIOUSLY I wrote about my obsession with bread from The Loaf.
Aside from being a bakery, The Loaf is also a great place to wine and dine, be it for lunch or dinner.

Places to sit:
1) The verandah if u want to enjoy the sun

2) Inside the restaurant. Pretty cozy.
2) Near the escalators inside the mall.
The Loaf gives monthly promotions and discounts for members for their bakery items and dining menu.

In April, their promotion was for Cajun Chicken Sandwich for RM8.99. Originally it costs RM22.
It was definitely a deal hard to resist. Furthermore, it taste fantabulous!

Cajun Chicken Sandwich: You have a choice of bread for the sandwich.

As you can see below, the Cajun Chicken sandwich was definitely a mouthful;)

My favourite dish from The Loaf's dine-in menu is the Chilli Prawn pasta (RM26).

Chilli Prawn Pasta: Juicy fresh prawns spiced up with a touch of local chilli, and a slice of garlic bread.

I think it was worth the price as they do give a generous amount of deshelled prawns and sphaghetti noodle.

Other pastas I've tried include Presto Pesto and Chunky Country Chicken Spaghetti.

As written in the menu, Presto Pesto consist of zuchini, button mushrooms and cherry tomatoes tossed in pesto and light tomato sauce.

I didn't really favour Presto Pesto as the tomato sauce was really very light tasting. Hence, I wouldn't recommend Presto Pesto to tomato and spaghetti bolognaise lovers!

The Country Chicken Spaghetti tasted a bit like Presto Pesto but definitely with a stronger tomato flavour.

It has chunky bite-sized grilled chicken sauteed with button mushroom, and zucchini in traditional arabiatta sauce.

One thing I failed to mention at the top is that The Loaf provides complementary bread as starters when dining in.
Unfortunately, eventhough I've dined there at least a dozen times, but the waiter always failed to serve the bread before the main course comes. There were also a couple of times when I had to remind the waiter to serve it.

As for dinner, I've only dined at The Loaf once. But it was pricey to do it often. Yes, the lunch menu is different than the dinner menu - content wise and price wise.
